What each connection unlocks
Each layer builds on the one before it. The sellers who get the most out of Deal Brain connect all four. Some connections may require administrator approval in your organization — we’re here to help however we can to make that happen.
The core context stack
Your AI platform
Sources: Claude, ChatGPT, or any others via our MCP custom connector. This is the foundation of your Deal Brain experience and where you actually talk to Deal Brain. Our MCP connector exposes purpose-built tools: get deal context, generate a brief, draft a follow-up, list action items, propose CRM updates. Ask Claude to prep you for your 2pm, and the answer is grounded in your actual deal, not generic advice.Call transcripts
Sources: Granola, Gong, Fathom. Transcripts bring the ground truth of a deal. They hold the exact words your customer used and the commitments your champion made. Deal Brain pulls them in, extracts observations and action items, and links them to the right deal — so you get one-click debriefs after every call and a running view of how the deal is evolving.Email and calendar
Sources: Gmail and Google Calendar, via Google Workspace. Email carries the parts of the deal that never make it onto a call: procurement threads, security reviews, and pricing clarifications. Calendar tells Deal Brain who you’re meeting with and when. Together, they power your morning brief, meeting prep grounded in the recent thread with the economic buyer, and follow-up drafts in your own voice.Workspace docs
Sources: Notion. Workspace docs hold deal plans, account notes, handoff docs, and stakeholder context. Deal Brain syncs linked Notion pages to the right opportunity and keeps them available alongside your CRM, calls, email, calendar, and Slack context. The accelerator: your CRM
Sources: Salesforce, HubSpot, or a CSV import. You can feel Deal Brain’s value before you connect your CRM. Connect it, and Deal Brain goes from personal assistant to team-wide operating layer. It ties every call, email, and decision you make in Claude to the specific deal it belongs to, proposes CRM updates with citations back to the source, and gives you a real-time picture of the state of each deal. Accurate deal visibility becomes an exhaust of deal activity rather than a chore for reps. How Deal Brain writes to your CRM is set per field.
Manual turns off automatic proposals, Suggest sends a proposal for your review before anything is written, and Automatic writes the update without review. Check Fields and CRM objects to see how your fields are configured. How Deal Brain treats your data
- Read-first by default. Deal Brain reads from your systems to build context. The writes it makes back to your CRM follow the update mode set on each field.
- Your data is yours. We don’t train foundation models on it.
- Scoped access. We ask for the minimum permissions each connection needs.
- Human in the loop. Outbound drafts never send automatically — you review and send every one. CRM writes depend on each field’s update mode; see Fields and CRM objects.
