Tempo is open infrastructure, not an app you have to live in. It connects to any AI tool that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard for giving AI assistants access to outside systems. Connect it once, and your organization’s institutional memory — deals, stakeholders, meetings, and how your team sells — is available inside the tool you already work in. Using a different AI tool?

Any tool that supports MCP can connect to Tempo. You’ll just need these details, which you can also find on the Connections page in your Tempo settings:

Paste these into your tool’s MCP settings, sign in with your Tempo account when prompted, and you’re good to go.

What you can ask

Once connected, your AI tool can do far more than look up deals. Tempo groups tools around the jobs users want to complete:

Workspace	Work with deals, meetings, Canvas runs, and tasks
CRM	Review CRM updates, inspect fields, and create supported CRM records
Communication	Read your tone profile and manage Gmail drafts
Context	Search deal context, inspect artifacts, search Playbook guidance, and manage Context Sources
Build	Manage Canvas templates, Skills, Signals, Automations, and Playbook sources when your permissions allow it

Use the standard connection for the full public tool surface. If your MCP client lets you configure toolsets, use the seller-focused preset for daily deal work and include Build when you need configuration tools. Context Sources let agents inspect or link evidence from already-connected services to a deal. Provider connections and credentials still stay in Tempo settings. Some prompts to start with:

Show me my active deals with stage, close date, and a one-line read on each.

Run my morning brief: meetings today, overdue tasks, stale deals, and my top three moves.

Prep me for my next customer meeting — objective, attendees, likely objections, and questions that move the deal.
