The Opportunities section of the left sidebar is where you browse your pipeline as a table. It has two built-in views: All Opportunities and By Stage.
  • All Opportunities (/app/dashboard/opportunities) is the flat list of everything in your pipeline. Start here when you want to search, filter, or scan across the whole set.
  • By Stage groups the table by opportunity stage. Use it when you want to scan how deals are distributed across your sales process.
Browsing is one of two routes to the same context. Anything you can scan for here you can also ask for in chat or your AI platform — “show me deals closing this quarter that have gone quiet” gets you a similar answer without touching a control. The list is better when you want to see everything at once; the conversational route is better when the question is specific.

The All Opportunities toolbar

The page is titled All Opportunities and carries a row of controls across the top. Two more controls sit at the top right, depending on your setup: New Opportunity when Salesforce is connected, or Import when no CRM is. The columns you can show and filter on come from your CRM and from fields created in Tempo. To create one, open Fields and click Create New Field. See Create a Tempo-managed opportunity field for the complete flow. Changing a view’s columns adds three more controls to the row: These appear only while you have unsaved changes. Unsaved changes remain available for 15 minutes. If you refresh during that window, Tempo restores them. After 15 minutes, the next refresh loads the saved configuration. The default table shows Name, Stage, Amount, Probability, Next Step, Close Date, Expected Revenue, and Description. Organization admins also see Owner. The fields available in Fields, Filters, and Groups come from the data Tempo syncs from your CRM, plus any fields created in Tempo. Multiple filters can work together. Grouped views keep the same rows and columns, then organize the rows under values from the selected field. The summary row shows the number of opportunities and totals for monetary columns.

Filter by a relative date

Date filters can move with the calendar. Use them for views such as opportunities closing this quarter or in the next 30 days.
1

Add a date condition

Click Filters, add a condition, and choose a date field.
2

Choose the value shape

Select Relative, Days, On a date, Between, or Empty.
3

Set the date rule

Choose the operator and value. Relative calendar periods support this, last, and next day, week, month, quarter, half, or year. Sliding windows use a number of days.
4

Review the resolved dates

Check the displayed date span before closing the condition. Tempo applies edits as you make them.
Named periods use complete calendar blocks. For example, last month means the previous calendar month, while last 30 days is a sliding window.

Manage personal views

Use Create View to save a useful table configuration. Saved views appear under Opportunities in the sidebar and are personal to you. Drag them to change their order. When you change a view, click Update to save the change into it, or Save as New to keep both configurations. Unsaved changes remain available for 15 minutes and return after a refresh during that period.

The … menu

The … menu, next to Create View, groups the CRM refresh with the actions for the view you are looking at: Update is also available in the toolbar while you have unsaved changes. In this menu it stays dimmed until there is a change to save. An item appears dimmed when it isn’t available for your current view.
Set as Default and Delete are worth reaching for once you have built your own views. Set the one you open most often as the default, and delete the ones you stop using.

Refresh opportunity data from your CRM

1

Open All Opportunities

Click Opportunities → All Opportunities.
2

Start the refresh

Click …, next to Create View, then click Refresh from Salesforce or Refresh from HubSpot. The label changes to Refreshing… while the request runs.
3

Review the refreshed list

Wait for the refresh to finish, then review the opportunity fields in the list.
This action reads the latest opportunity data from your connected CRM. It does not approve or write CRM updates.

Import or create an opportunity

Organizations connected to Salesforce see New Opportunity for creating a CRM opportunity. If your organization has no connected CRM, the page offers Import for bringing in opportunity data instead. See CSV import for file preparation and limits. Import is not shown once a CRM is connected.

Open an opportunity

Select an opportunity name to open its detail view. The header lets you Ask in Chat or Add Artifacts. Use the tabs to move between:
  • Overview for the deal summary and recent context
  • Fields for the deal’s field values, from your CRM and from Tempo
  • Artifacts for the emails, transcripts, notes, uploads, and saved chats assigned to the deal
  • Updates for proposed CRM changes, with a count when proposals are pending
Your access follows your role. Sellers work with their own opportunities. Organization admins can view and edit opportunities across their selling team.

Artifacts

An artifact is an ingested piece of source context: an email, a meeting transcript, a meeting note, an upload, or a saved chat. Artifacts are what Tempo reasons over — observations, action items, and CRM field proposals all cite the artifact they came from. Artifacts (/app/dashboard/artifacts) is the global page that collects them. When there’s nothing to show, it reads:
No Artifacts — There are no artifacts to display. Add artifacts from an opportunity to get started.
That last sentence is the structural point worth internalizing. Artifacts belong to an opportunity, so you add them from an opportunity — the Add Artifacts control on the global page is disabled while the list is empty.

Add an uploaded artifact

1

Open the opportunity

Open the opportunity that should own the artifact.
2

Add the artifact

Click Add Artifacts, choose the upload option, and select a file. You can also drag the file into the Upload files dialog.
3

Set the artifact date

Set Date (created or recorded) to the date Tempo should use when placing the artifact in the deal timeline.
4

Upload the file

Confirm the opportunity, then complete the upload. Tempo processes the file and adds it to the opportunity’s artifacts.
Each uploaded file can be up to 100 MB. Tempo accepts these file types:
Upload the artifact from the opportunity it belongs to. This keeps its observations and action items attached to the correct deal.
